Project: Digital Flower Earrings

In this project we will create lovely flower earrings with a futuristic twist.

You will need two inches of coiled wire, two aluminum flowers and two JellyPins.

Take each JellyPin and bend it at a 90 degree angle about 1/8th inch from the jelly end of the pin.

Slide a flower on to each pin, working it past the bend so that it surrounds the jelly ball on the pin.  You may need to spread the petals of the flower to do so, but they can easily be pushed back into place or whatever shape you like.

Cut the coiled wire so that you have two one inch pieces (this step isn't necessary with the kit as they are pre-cut).  Slide the coils onto the stem of the flowers.

Bend the remaining wire as close to the top of the coil as you can, then cut it to about 1/4 inch in length and curl it into an eye.  Repeat for both JellyPin flowers.

Attach to the earwires and your flowers are ready to wear!

Kit for this project is available here: Digital Flowers Kit

Have fun!
